In 2003 The Property Shop International was formed to find suitable properties for lifestyle buyers in Southern Spain and to identify property investment opportunities within emerging markets which are offered to private clients through a network of collaborating agents in Spain , the UK & Ireland.

Nick Pendrell is an overseas property expert who has been living in Eastern Europe since 1992. At the start of 2007, he created Propertastic! which has since become one of the leading Internet sites for individuals interested in investing in property in Eastern Europe and the emerging Mediterranean.

It was while creating the Propertastic! site that he first came across the exciting opportunities for capital growth in Egypt. In October 2007, he visited Hurghada in order to write some information on the current state of the market for the Propertastic! site, during which time he met with many of the developers active on the market, real estate agents, lawyers, etc. Nick was so impressed by the opportunities that he discovered in the market that he ended up writing over 30,000 words on the subject. The information proved to be so well-received that it led to him releasing his findings in the form of the book Propertastic's Complete Guide to Hurghada Property and Egypt's Red Sea Riviera Real Estate, which is available from Amazon worldwide and from leading bookstores.

This, the first book ever published on Egypt 's property market, has been met with great acclaim and has led to Nick's being considered as the leading authority on the market.
